Why Families Ask for One
Many families choose a memorial bear for a grandchild who was too young to hold on to memories any other way, or for themselves, as something to keep on a bed or a chair rather than in a box. Some order more than one, so each member of the family has their own.
How It Works
Bring us the clothing
Pass on a garment that belonged to your loved one. Soft, washable fabrics such as shirts, jumpers, or dressing gowns work best.
Choose the details
Talk to us about size, styling, and any personal touches you’d like included, such as a name, date, or short message.
The bear is made
Each bear is made by hand from the fabric provided, with care taken to use the garment thoughtfully rather than wastefully.
Collect or deliver
Once ready, we’ll let you know, and can arrange collection from Penrhyn Bay or delivery, whichever suits you.
What to do when someone dies
We will help you every step of the way by registering the death, what happens if the coroner is involved in the funeral and any other questions you may have. We always have a funeral director available to talk to families, also we take on so much of the burden on ourselves that you can gather your thoughts and prepare for the days ahead.
