Types of Floral Tribute
There’s no single way to say it with flowers, and we’re happy to talk through what feels right for your family. Popular choices include:
- Casket sprays — a larger arrangement laid directly on the coffin, often the main floral tribute at a service
- Wreaths — a traditional, circular tribute symbolising eternity and continuing memory
- Posies and sprays — smaller, personal arrangements, often chosen by close family members
- Letters and shapes — flowers arranged to spell a name, word, or symbol with particular meaning
- Hearts and cushions — a softer, more personal shape, popular for close family tributes
- Single stems and loose flowers — a simple, understated option, sometimes placed by individual mourners during the service
Personal Touches

If you’d prefer, donations in lieu of flowers can also be arranged for a chosen charity, and we’re happy to help coordinate this alongside the order of service.
What to do when someone dies
We will help you every step of the way by registering the death, what happens if the coroner is involved in the funeral and any other questions you may have. We always have a funeral director available to talk to families, also we take on so much of the burden on ourselves that you can gather your thoughts and prepare for the days ahead.
